Introduction

Symbiosis International University conducts the Symbiosis Entrance Test commonly known as SET which is an entrance test for admissions to undergraduate programs offered by 12 institutes affiliated with the university. SET Test is an online mode exam for various UG courses such as BBA, BA, BCA, and BSc Hons, whereas Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) is conducted for law programs offered by the organization. 

Eligibility Criteria

As per the eligibility criteria of the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) candidates appearing for this exam have to meet the age limit, educational qualifications, and the qualifying exam that are accepted by Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET). Only those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria only should apply for the entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) Entrance Exam 2023 comprise the qualifying exam, age limit, and minimum marks required for admissions. Age Criteria

The candidate must have a minimum of 17 years old and there will be no upper age limit.

Educational Qualification

Candidates appearing in SET seeking admission into a law program need to have qualified 12th board examination under the 10+2 education system or equivalent from a recognized board

Marks  Required

  • The candidates belonging to the General category must secure at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination
  • Relaxation in minimum marks is applied to reserved category candidates such as Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes up to 5% marks.

Application Process

Step 1 Registration

Candidates will have to register themselves online for SET on the official website where a  user ID and password will be generated

Step 2 Fill out the form

Candidates will now log in to fill the application form with important details like name,  date of birth, gender, nationality, and category, one number, communication, and permanent address, and Additional information.

Step 3 upload documents

The applicant is required to Upload scanned copies of a recent passport sized photograph and signature of the specified size.

Step 4 Payment of Fees

The final step is to Pay the application fee of Rs. 1950 and Rs. 3500 in case of two exams via Easebuss Payment Gateway, Billdesk Gateway, and Indian Bank Gateway or offline via Demand Draft (DD) in favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune (through a nationalized bank)
